About This Event:
This2nd time Olympic distance Triathlon in
the heart of Texas, Waco, starts with a 1500 meter open water
swim in the Brazos River(no wetsuits) mostly flat and fast
40 km bike on country roads north and west of Waco and a hilly
10 km run along the Brazos River, finishing on the oldest
suspension bridge in the United States. For the less ambitious
competitors we have a great beginner Sprint, consisting of
a 400 meter swim in the Brazos, a 20 km bike on the same country
roads and a 3.45 mile run also finishing on the same suspension
bridge. Great beginner event with plenty of amenities. Owned
and produced by and for the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce.
USA Triathlon sanctioned. Absolutely NO REFUNDS or TRANSFERS.

Here's your chance to do what is arguably the best NEW Triathlon
in Texas. Safe swim in the clean Brazos River. Cycle on very
lightly traveled and well paved county roads and run along
the beautiful Brazos River thru Parks which is totally closed
to traffic. Hot days and cool nights. Absolutely NO Wetsuits.
Water temp is always 82 degrees or more.
Waiver and Release
USAT Waiver will be signed at Packet
Pick-up. All entrants/competitors will be required to sign
the USAT Waiver and pick up their OWN packet. NO one will
be permitted to collect another entrant's packet. NO Race
day packet pick-up. Picture ID required. |
